A city walk | history lessons

We walked. We talked. She listened. She learned.

Rochester, New York. We complain about the winters, but Oh is it full of gems, full of history. We visited The Greater Rochester Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Highland Park, Mt. Hope Cemetery to pay our respects at the graves of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass, the bridge at High Falls, a quick stop for a sweet treat on Park Avenue at Scratch Bakeshop (if you haven’t been, you must give them a try!), and ended our tour at the Memorial Art Gallery‘s centennial sculpture park.

Wasn’t our first city walk, and certainly won’t be our last. These are the moments I treasure.
