Life {Unscripted} | Vol.23 | July- the 4th

July. Record heat and a drought here in New York. While going back through all of my images from this month, I decided to focus on our favorite part, which also happens to be one of our favorites of the year: July 4th weekend. Each year, my husband’s family hosts a family picnic at their cottage on a small, but beautiful lake in the Finger Lakes. We relax, play, eat, soak up the sun, and just generally have an amazing time. This year didn’t disappoint either. At the end of the weekend, the kids (and parents) were BEAT! We couldn’t even consider staying up for the big local fireworks display, so we had fun with a little bunch of our own and everyone was tucked in well before meltdown stage! Perfection. Here are some of my favorite memories from that weekend! Don’t forget to head through the entire Life {Unscripted} blog circle, my talented friend Crystal of Crystal Raynard Photography is up next here!
